As we reach the end of 2013, we want to pause and take a moment to look back and highlight some memorable milestones that took place here at V2, as well as give our gratitude to our clients and partners that have helped make us successful.
V2 – New Name. New Personality.
2013 was a big year for us, as it was our first official year as V2 after completely re-branding our company and changing our name. A year later, we feel that the brand presence and personality of V2 fully encompasses our vision and goals of an environmentally friendly Portland based company committed to providing the best event production services in our industry. Bottom line – we want to help make your virtual meetings easy and stress free, and we feel that we have definitely accomplished that, as we continue to hone our skills, research the best web platforms, and expand our service offerings to fit the needs of our customers.
A Year of Growth
This year, we were proud to welcome our newest addition to the Events Team, Erin Armentrout. Erin joined our team in May and has proved to be an invaluable Event Producer, with years of experience in the world of webcasting and event mobile app product consulting. Erin quickly took the reins and now manages many facets of our partnership with SourceMedia, from event production to e-mail blasts and reporting. She has also helped form the relationship with our new client, Vestas, the wind energy company with an office right here in Portland. We are very excited for the new partnership and to have Erin as a member of the V2 crew.
New Service Offerings – Eloqua Integration and V2 Certification Portal
At V2, we strive to expand our service offerings and learn and adapt as the industry changes. The integration of Eloqua and other CRM providers with online events has been a big part of the last year for us and our clients. In addition, we have seen a huge rise in webinar continuing education certificates – CPEs, CEUs, etc. We discovered that many of our clients were spending hours after their events tabulating and sending out the certificates of attendance to their participants. V2 saw this as a huge pain point for our customers and decided we wanted to find a better solution. And thus, the V2 Certification Portal was born.
Over the past few years, Eloqua and other CRM providers have become integral in webinar marketing, promotion, and lead management. V2 recognized the importance of this trend and decided we wanted to better help our customers leverage the CRM technology available for their online events. One of our goals this year was to help streamline the webinar/Eloqua process for our long time customer, FICO. Brad Rollin, Senior Manager, Field Marketing at FICO, spearheaded this new process, and had already been using Eloqua for all his team’s webinar promotion, invitations and follow-up. Brad wanted to take things a step further and fully integrate Eloqua’s vast CRM capabilities with WebEx’s cloud connector and V2’s event production services. V2, along with Couch & Associates, helped Brad fully integrate V2’s webinar event services with FICO’s Eloqua system to simplify the process for his marketing managers, and better track and qualify leads. In October, V2 was honored to co-present with FICO and Couch at the annual Eloqua Experience in San Francisco. We can’t thank Brad enough for inviting us to speak with him at EE as well his continued support of the V2 team.
And last, but definitely not least, V2 is extremely proud of the creation of the V2 Certification Portal this year. The V2 Certification Portal automates the certification process and removes the potential for human error, providing a superior certificate delivery method. Instead of spending countless hours sending emails with an attached certificate that may get caught in a spam filter, the V2 Certification Portal provides a path for attendees to download their certificate(s) themselves via a custom branded online portal. Attendees are even able to download their certificates any time they want, wherever they want, for however long a period you wish to allow. We are so excited about our new services and look forward to expanding these new service offerings to our customers in 2014.
